I disagree. I hate most anything remotely anime-looking, but this is badass.

I hated the first FF move. What in hell were they thinking? It had nothing to do with FF characters or the game stories. The writing was horrible. I broke out laughing at the end ("It's so warm!"). Why did they go realistic?

They're on the right track with the new movie. The animation is so much better, they're not going for realistic design, and it's more along the lines of the FF stuff.

Yup, I played ff7 3 times back to back to back the first month I got it and I have played in a few times since then. Loved it.

FF7 was garbage imo, although all FF sucked except 3...couldent stand the others.

and the first movie was so horrible, the story line was gheyer than richard simmons, although this one looks pretty sick.

my sister was playing kingdom hearts for a while, so i showed her ff7 and 9. she didnt like it kuz the graphics were too poor lol. funny how some people wont play damn good games even if the graphics arent up to date.

i was going to show her 10, but aparently i lost it in the move. and 10 is a little complexe compared to 7. (the whole 3d grid thing took a few hours to get used to for me )

Ya cause ruby weapon had the automatic elminate a guy attack, the l33t secret to beating him was casting regen then pressing open on your playstation. No one could attack and youd regen your hitpoints. Come to think of it I was sploiting before sploiting was cool.

actually, the real trick to beating ruby was to get in a normal battle before ruby, and kill your two partners... Then, the survivor has Final Attack-Phoenix combo, as well as W-summon-HP absorb, and Knights of the Round-MP absorb.

Then, you just cast knights of the round 2x.. hits him for massive, and you get full hp/mp ...

The reason you kill your partners, is he wont suck them in if they're already dead. So you Phoenix after he plants his hands, and you got three people pwning his ass.. oh btw, have the 2 dead people with Mime... then you are all getting full hp/mp and all doing pure pwn.

FF7 is the best RPG in Square's series... FF6 was good, but got it's shit totally ruined by 7.

Oh, and to the person saying FFX was easier to learn than FF7 was fuckin stupid... How hard is it to see a weapon has two slots. You can put a gem in each slot. Gem = Skill/spell/buff. Figure it out.
