Usenet / Newsgroup access needed.

Yeah ok ...
So my old account just expired and I decided I aint gonna pay shit for Usenet access anymore.

So whats the dealio on Free Usenet servers and such? What is everyone using, if any?

I use Forte Agent.

If I'd want good family material I'd stick with the Disney channel so to speak.

the newgroups that earthlink used to give you access to were pretty much unfiltered, i used to DL so much porn that way. dont know if they still do or not though i havent used newsgroups in forever

go to irc, one dalnet. and join xxxpasswords rooms, and search for pictureview.

access to all usenet binaries/etc. and pictures are all thumbnailed.

Ok, for the total IRc newb here, I think IRC stands for Internet Relay Chat or something like that.

Do I need a program to join/connect/use IRC?

Does IRC use a server with channel lists?

I'll check it out if somebody gives me baby steps to follow.

type /join #xxxpasswords

Do I need a program to join/connect/use IRC? Yes

Does IRC use a server with channel lists? You can list channels, but its been years since I've used it. I think it's /list or something. Easier to just type /join #channelname
