That artist is named Kurt Wenner. There is an entire book on his works; he not only does street murals. It's some amazing stuff.

Those are awesome indeed, but the pictures are deceiving. They look so real because the camera has some feature enabled that rounds the ends of the screen.

It's called a fisheye lense. And it appears that he uses a stencil because the 3rd pic posted by Geigs appears to be the same as the 2nd one he posted. Although I have yet to look at the website.

I dunno about it being a stencil, if he does these regularly he could probably reproduce the work pretty accurately, especially if he has some sort of template to work from.

But /agree on the use of the fisheye lens, they wouldnt look as convincing in a standard photo

that is awesome. when i was in europe i saw street artists pretty much everyday doing portraits of mozart, beethoven, etc. they were all good but none were this good
