As it was, Alphaville quickly turned into a hellhole of scam-artists, crime syndicates, mafia extortion artists and teenage girls turning tricks to make ends meet. It became a breeding ground for the very worst in human nature - a benign-sounding granny, for example, who specialised in taking new players into her confidence, then showered them in abuse. Then there was the scam-artist known as Evangeline, who started out equally friendly and then stole new players' money.

Is it because I'm a chick? I am mesmerized by the damn Sims. I especially like building their houses. I saw the previews for the new Sims and drooled. I would never admit this in person.

I have lost whole days cleaning up virtual urine.

I stopped liking Sims after I realized how easy it was to exploit.

Then I realized it wasn't an exploit at all.

Life WOULD be much easier if we all lived in a perfect climate, and didn't have walls, who needs them!

I'm sure this new version will have lots of new opportunities to lock lots of sim people up in small doorless spaces with a greater variety of dangerous appliances than previous Sims did too.

On a bad day, I'd come home and kill my Sims off. I especially liked putting them in the pool, then taking out the ladder.
