was tranzor Z the one who turned into a Flying saucer, and the enemy robots would be flying saucers that would land from outer space or something.. most of the time they'd try to fight in 'saucer' form first, and then transform into the robot.

I vaguely recall renting these videos from blockbuster when I was like... 6.. so I may be a bit off, but that robot looks famiiliar.

err.. I just looked up some info, and it seems it's not the cartoon I'm thinking of, though I did see some episodes of tranzor Z too when I was younger.
Anyone have an idea of the cartoon I was talking about? I seem to recall there being multiple 'good guy' robots at some point (not necessarily the whole series)
