As far as hostage situations and shit for his release, it ain't gonna happen. These crazy fuckers will blow each other up with car bombs for the next couple of days, but that's it. They already had one or two this morning. The president is coming on at noon eastern time, can't wait.

The attacks will continue, those asswipes will use any excuse to attack, if he is kept alive they will fight for his freedom, if he is executed he will be a martyr to them.

He will be tried by Iraqis who will most likely sentence him to death. Bush pulled the US out of the ICC and wont give Saddam to the UN for several reasons. For one thing they dont use the death penalty any more, even though in my own opinion taking dictators and isolating them for the rest of their lives is probably worse than death for them.

Also a UN trial with probe very deep into Saddams past, and may end up implicating(not punishing, but rather making people very aware of) Americans involved with Saddam, such as members of the Raegan administration, and Bechtel.

Another thing is Bush is afraid of the ICC 'crime of aggression' which in itself makes the whole Iraq war illegal.

Also Bin Laden is probably hiding in Pakistan, a country with a dictator who we love.
