I have read this website for many years, laughed, been entertained and down right absorbed by the writings of the Furor. But things have changed alot, the politics the bullshit and ultimitly the view of Everquest as a whole. Furor has changed too, maybe grown up some from when he first started playing and enjoying everquest with his friends. Now when i read all you get is what is wrong with Everquest and how if someone with half a brain could pick these things up in beta. Then u get a brown nosed stain of how good all these other games are that he gets payed to promote. The real fact is Everquest remains the number one game and i have had a good look at what is on offer. AC 2, Shadowbane, Earth and Beyond all have tried but EQ is a master piece , sure its not perfect but it kicks everything out there into touch. Ask yourself if there was anything better im sure Furor would be doing it. Again the truth is if WOW comes out and takes the number one spot of EQ this will be very temporary for all the brown nosed ass licking Furor has done it will be in vain because when EQ2 comes out it will spawn a new generation of avid followers and that is a fact. So what temporary void WOW may fill in will be short lived and no amount of verbal bashing Furor does will not help WOW. From by view point i will enjoy the progress and continue to play EQ from time to time not worring about the moaning self rightous shit Furor comes out with nowadays , bring back the youthful adventurer of old. Lets see some positives about EQ, fuck Smedely and his money grabbing lichs PLAY the game or walk of the park and remember any game to topple EQ will be a real masterpiece and i fear that is a lot harder than getting any icon to promote it. EQ has stood the test for a long long time even SWG fell a long way short.
