Sorry, I using IRL as a sarcastic thing back before Sullon Zek (Or EQ Existed). The first time I heard it being used a lot in that manner was actually in the PK community of The Realm.

bofis/pofis did not make irl cause i know him irl (not really) and he's just a crazy guy that said he took too many drugs and was hypersensetive to gore and scary things and everyone believed him then he took as many gore pictures as he could find and teh goat.se pic and spammed message boards with them and got banned and i laughed irl after i threw up

Regarding IRL (assuming you mean the "In Real Life" meaning of it):

I'm positive it wasn't started on Sullon Zek, I saw it written a ton on Fennin Ro LONG before Sullon Zek was ever a server. I'd imagine it was first invented in some oldschool MUD game probably 20 years ago or something.
