[WoW] New Private Server

If anyones interested just hit me with a PM, it's basically a brand new server, some of us who have been bug fixing for the last few months have some somewhat leveled up characters, but there's only like maybe 6-7 of us.

We have it open for 500 people and would love to see the people enjoying it.

I won't come here promising there are no bugs and such, but we have gotten the vast majority of bugs fixed that are extremely game breaking, such as hunter pet quests, and things of that sort that completely break a class.

If you'd like to give it a shot, it's a blizz-like PvP server in almost all respect, we did up quest XP a little bit to make up for the difficulty of being such a low pop server, and since we believe questing is 1000x more enjoyable than simply grinding out levels.

Just PM me if you would like to come, I will get back to you within a day or so, we should be taking the server live tomorrow, or wednesday at the latest.

What exactly is the appeal of this, especially to anyone with an active WoW account?

Well, I don't know that it would appeal to someone with an active WoW account to be honest.

If you don't have an active account, and want to get back into the game, or never had one, and want to play. It's a viable option though I would say.

I imagine there's tons of folks like myself that come here regularly, who quit WoW ages ago. But wouldnt mind coming back just to have some fun with pals or to just screw around and have fun leveling up a character or 5.

Methinks this thread wont last long. Besides, how are Tigole and Furor supposed to afford undercoating for their Feraris with these bastards running emulators?

I see multiple threads about EQ emu stuff and assumed this would be acceptable as well..

Oh well... maybe it'll stay maybe not I guess

Server emulation is the future of mmorpg gaming for us imo. The devs give you the game, content, textures ect and their retarded ideas of what resembles a "game balance" and we player turn it into something actually worthwhile (UOWOW server anyone?).

I would love to run my WoW "franchise" server, pay like 8€ per customer(not a free server obviously) to blizzard and ban everyone from my server who is below the age of 25.

you know, this is why the "UO WOW", "Fighting over Dragons" or "Best Titanium Server?" Thread have hundreds of replies and this one is in the rickshaw after 5 posts.

Offer something unique if you're offering a private server, this isn't your usual "I'm too cheap to pay a$12 subscription" community.
