| I couldn't give a shit about Mippo, Aion, or HM spanking it to a Mippo flame, but I have to ask, why is there is a pic of a pile of food? Skinny white boy --> pile o food? Is this is a speed advertisement?

What is humorous is not only that you make the claims that you do (reminiscent of Sam da Man in some ways), but that you disregard the ranking system when my guess is that you'd not be complaining one iota about it if your legion was ranked #1. On the other side of the coin, I don't see how you got "ran off" the game, though. /shrug. | |

Secondly most initial recruitment is simply looking for activity and levels. People going in without a legion race out in levels to join whichever legion has the highest levels at the time. The logic is that the people who level the quickest will have the best players. It's not always true, and on Azphel it definitely wasn't, but it is a good bet. Essentially, having people stick around and level quickly spurs your recruitment in the beginning of a game but that's not something a leader has control over. It's impossible to make people play long hours for the first few weeks, maintain your legion near the highest levels, and use that for recruitment. There is only one legion that pushed everyone to level quickly but they aren't even taking advantage of the recruitment opportunity it provided them and frankly, having grouped with most of them, they are pretty shitty players which is likely why Azphel Asmodians are getting beaten so badly. I sincerely doubt they will stay a top legion for long, even after shooting out in levels. For the vast majority of the server, the legions that "survived" the exodus did so based on how many players they had initially. Those are basically the two options, 1) level quickly and use it for recruitment or 2) have a lot of players at the start so you still have an active roster after people quit. Very little of that has to do with leadership.

| It's funny, Mippo is so stereotypical. He goes to UCF, and over here at UCF we have a bunch of bars out by the school. All the guys that hang out there are guidos or wanna be guidos. Look at mippos hair, which bars do you go to mippo? Scoop? Knight library? TD's? Devaneys? The only place I can tolerate out there is Devaney's and thats before the guido rush around 11ish. I'm sure I'll see you around sometime, but you won't know it's me, does that creep you out? |
