I'm not saying it's bad because even being a breakeven player is earning money with RB and the majority of poker players don't even make money so it's fine, but he's still a breakeven player who luckboxed two rebuys and has too small of a sample size to even try to discern his ROI/ITM%, at least wait until 2000 games before you make some semibrags

I shall translate..
If you break even in terms of buyin (cost) and winnings (profit) you will generally then make money from RB ('rakeback', programs where you receive a % of the rake taken out by the site).
His sample size is very small, and his return on investment/in the money %'s are artificially inflated due to a couple high place finishes in large tournaments.

My own sample size is still small, 359 games played on Full tilt (under the name MrNit), the majority of which are sit n go tournaments, ranging from 1 to 10 tables. But, as of this moment, I've been averaging 56% ROI. I was at 60% last night, then had like 8 straight games where I didn't cash, so it dropped a decent amount. That's still a very decent ROI %, which would be awesome if I can keep that kind of profit as I continue to move up in stakes, but I know I likely won't. I started out with no money, and I'm up to around $400 now after a month and a half or so. The last $300 coming in the last 2 weeks, as I moved up in stakes and continued doing well.

I started with 15$ 3 weeks ago...I'd say hitting 7,000 is a pretty decent accomplishment and in fact I completely fucked up several other really good opportunities to cash big by making mistakes I know to no longer make. My roll should be at more like 10k+ easy. This is the nature of tournaments though. You seriously think I luckboxed my way to 2 simultaneous final tables placing 1st and then 2nd(and I shoulda placed first in both)? Not to mention the night before I also won 1500$

Sometimes it takes a while to cash in tourneys but you have to play a sick amount of them and avoid gross beats and then you'll eventually have the type of spurt that I just had and then you'll lose for a bit and then have another spurt.

Also lumie, you ran good over a month, have a tiny sample size, and binked two rebuys, otherwise you're a breakeven player, repost when you have 2000 games or just switch to cash and save your bankroll imo.
