I got titanium installed about 5 minutes ago. Will be playing today for sure. For some reason though in the eqhost file when I change it to Host=eqemulator.net:5998 and save it says access is denied

Also what's all the talk on the thread about people giving a shit about AGI/DEX over STA/(Wis/Int/Str).

edit: nevermind was a stupid fucking win7 permission shit where users are somehow only allowed to view things

I get the black screen when I start. What file do I need to edit, the only thing that looks like eqini in my folder doesn't have all the TRUE/FAlSE things so i think i'm looking at the wrong file. Was hoping I just get around it like I did in realEQ with wineq but seems to have problems connecting to server at the login screen, continues to timeout

edit 2: nevermind wineq works fine, it was a problem with the server login I guess. Looking at character select now. And I guess kunark isn't unlocked, as I can't choose an Iksar. Why do Erudite starting stats have to be so damn good. Nobody wants to be a blackie, but they get like 15 more int than dark elves and 5 more to other shit like sta. Clearly gnome is the right choice

no matter how many premissions i changed it kept saying this shit to me too, I had to delete and just drag and drop a new one in

I'm considering a necro + other class combo, simply just because I remember necros being pretty good at leveling back in vanilla. really have no idea what i'd do it with, bard seems like too much maintenance for when a pvper comes around, cleric would be nice but really just slow my leveling down so I could buff/heal more efficiently and have a rez, maybe a shaman and just slow and stack dots, eventually a decent pet combo. basically two solo classes together, but the boring potential is truly there

93 Blacksmithing, that was a lot of clicking. Thank fuck for the modern UI in Titanium, no way would I have done that the old school way. Anyways, amazingly amazing* picture of full banded Dwarven paladin inc : (*I figured if I was making a paladin, might as well make it a full abomination of nature/gods/whatever and go female dwarf

I had no idea the xp was curved that much lol. Funny thing about gnome rogue is the name of the rogue GM seems to have changed since the newbie note was written, I'm supposed to give it to Wenlo tanboots or something but now his name is Wenlo Tanlokian so no uber 1ac bp for me.

yeah 45 is the only level that actually feels like a normal level from EQ.
