Lumie might argue "Hey I'm just putting out my opinion", but it's a matter of putting out his opinion, ad nauseum, creating threads and hijacking threads with 'his opinion' at every opportunity, simply to troll everyone. I'm sure you won't deny it, I'm fairly certain that few would. The only difference I've seen is that Lumie seems fairly careful not to do anything too obviously deserving a ban, other than maybe a crass insult of someones health (that still didn't earn him a permaban). He is still able to use his favorite device - espousing his crazy notions, while at the same time insulting the intelligence of everyone who questions his 'facts' - and it works. It's a powerful thing, and no one should be surprised that he hits a nerve with readers as often as he does, imo. It isn't a mystery, yet I get the impression that he has curried some form of unspoken approval here from the powers that be. There are a number of other people who would have been banned long before if they had been in Lumie's shoes, yet here sits Lumie, still baiting everyone week after week. Yes, obvious troll is obvious, but beyond that, expecting people not to be drawn in on occasion is ludicrous, especially given the number of times Lumie does this, plus combined with the sheer amount of traffic here. Lumie is casting his lure into a rather crowded pond, and he is casting it often. He is going to get nibbles, he is goin to get bites, it is unavoidable. Not to mention that Lumie IS known as a troll at this point, but that won't make it better. Personally I think it is going to be MORE likely that people are going get riled when they know that this is all an act, and they are going to be more likely to step into the ring with Lumie on any given subject, whenever some assertion of Lumies hits a nerve. If it is ok for Lumie to continue his obvious troll act, than how do you think I feel about being expected to not respond to Lumie at all, to completely avoid responses and to not get angry when Lumie inevitably turns yet another thread topic into the worlds greatest thread derail? If Lumie needs only to make sure that he doesn't go too far and then continue to post at will, then I sure as shit am not going to log on, read one of his threads, and then sit here feeling like I am the bad man, and not respond. I'm not the problem here, Lumie is, and I am not going to police myself MORE than he does, simply so the 'Lumie' problem doesn't come up. If Lumie gets to run amok, then why can't others flame him and bitch about his not being banned? Hell, at this point his SHIT is so old, tired, and annoying to read, then why not let people garner at least a paucity of satisfaction in ripping him to shreds? Because, tbh, nothing is going to be done with him, as such he will continue to post his trolling shit, and people are naturally going to continue being unhappy with him and you'll get the reactions that people have been having. You may have been saying that tongue-in-cheek, but the entire Lumie issue is a fucking joke.

I personally think he's entertaining but more-so in doses. My main concerns with him is the excessive name calling, which I will explain better below. If you want to call eachother douchebags, retards, etc. that's fine as long as you limit them to exclude racial slurs or something that offends a lot of people, and it would be nice if you'd try not to use every name in the book in one single post. Lumie has, in several posts, called a single person up 12 names in a ONE post and to top it off, sometimes insists on increasing the font size for emphasis (or something). [I tried to find good examples to quote but since every other post opens with an insult, it's going to take too much time] If he wants to argue or get crazy, super - but I don't find it necessary to act like a (bigger) maniac in the process and start calling everyone stupid-fucking, cock-sucking, retarded, idiotic, bastard, cancer-loving, Jesus-hating, wastes of air, who deserve to die. He's obviously well versed in 'crazy' and is highly knowledgeable of some things that actually hold some ground (some =/= many). I sent a PM "Final Warning" 2 days ago in which he responded insinuating I was a "hypocrite". I asked him politely to cut back on the excessive attacks/name calling. I personally feel a lot of people do enjoy reading his posts, much like the posts from the guy who talked to grass and sang to trees. Having that said, I think limiting access to this blessed area would be an ideal solution. It's probably best left up to someone else because I'm a bit biased on the issue, I've had a 'beef' with Lumie ever since the Zeste fiasco which I thought was uncalled for and downright tasteless. I can't force my morals on others, if I could - I'd find him and smack his filthy mouth! For what it's worth, I do understand it's hard to ignore people who are frequently quoted and replied to and also tend to infect many threads that would have otherwise remained civil (or contained more sanity). | I said what I did about Zeste's dad because Zeste and a lot of other people defend those that are truly responsible for his death on top of giving them 500,000$ and you wanna be mad at me for pointing this out. I'm not the one who killed him and yet instead of taking my side and be logical, everyone acts like I'm the murderer. Man I seriously wish I was an super evil fucking doctor and I get to poison and kill people while making shit loads of money while being looked at like some sort of fucking hero while the people trying to expose my bullshit get ridiculed and laughed at and threatened.
