Do you people really think EQclassic will be fun? You might play it for 10 mins realize just what color those glasses are tinted and never touch it again. Leave those awesome memories alone and don't stare at that spellbook.

Example-Hot zones and zones that weren't in the game when it came out like pine forest made Progression server fun.

I'm not sure I'd say we're all looking back with rose tinted glasses. Honestly I still found EQ fun with the Living Legacy promo they pulled. The true problems of EQ right now, in my opinion, is unless you're already on top like Fulorian, the level of entry is too high for most returning players even with the BB/LGuk gear. That and the game feels spread thin over too many servers unless you are one of the required classes (i.e. Tank, Healer, and to a slightly lesser extent Slower)

The little time I spent back in EQ I spent up to 2-3 days between finding/starting groups at times.

Start a server new server up to Velious but add some more low level content for gear or hell steal WoWs system of 'of the animal' and make those common on the way up to max level.
