+79 Internets | No one can syncronize 13 or more characters like I can and no one (it would seem) is willing to pay for 24 accounts. If someone (i.e. one person) can do it in EQ2, with accounts that they own, then lets see their log. |

| Simple math wins out on this one. Characters in EQ2 simply hit much harder then characters in EQ1. If you for example were to take 24 Wizard or Assassin's in EQ2 you would do ALOT more then 115,000 in one second. To give you an idea raids in EQ2 can SUSTAIN insanely high dps numbers not just burst. I am not even sure what 24 assassin's burst DPS would be but trust me when I say it would dwarf yours. |

| Ah here we go. This is the offical Leaderboards that EQ2 has to show highest magical hit done by a wizard. This is just one guy btw, not someone who feels that owning 20+ accounts makes him important. EverQuest II Players |

+79 Internets | If the damage was done over one second or less, yes he did 1.4 milllion dps. But again, its a different game, who knows 1.4 million damage might not kill a trash mob in that game. |

| what have you not taken calculus? dps is a rate. damage divided by time. so let's say damage / (t1-t0). you can only measure to an accuracy of 1 second. that is clearly not your fault. so 115k / (02:46:18-02:46:18) you actually did infinite dps. which is significantly more impressive. if you like graphs, remember that the slope of a line is the rate of change. what is the slope of a vertical line? |
