+79 Internets | Best way to level up a guild. I'm having an interesting discussion with Breal from EQ (SK site owner). Given FoH long history and posters and given the question is applicable to most any MMO I wonder what your all take on it is. 70 Mobs in 90 Minutes - Page 10 - The Steel Warrior Quote:
What do you all think, is it optimal to level up a core group for a guild first, using all the guilds resorces for that group, and then use that group to level up the rest, or is it better to keep everyone about the same and distribute loot evenly. Assuming you trust each other and assuimng the goal is to advance the whole guild as fast as possible?

| You are probably the only person in the whole world who this question applies to.

+79 Internets | Why no other guild would allow all resorces to be put into a core group? How did FoH start in the most early days? There is no really tight group of people in any MMO (how bout gold farmers?) that trust each other enough to do it Breal's way? |

+77 Internets | Thats a nice chart on that link. Lets make some modifications to make sure your data is correct. (1) Calculate SamDaMan(are you SamDaMan[SDM]?) For H= 1 2 3 4 5 6 HwSaSMM = 1.0 1.2 1.4 1.6 1.8 2.16 (2) PT = 1; if HwS < 55 or HwSaSMM < 50 or B-C > 5 C(24) = 1.95 + ((C(24)HUwP - (VD-5)) * .13); otherwise. (3) PBSP = C(24)HUwP*HSRBDPS*H*VD (4) SDMM = PBSP * (C(24) + 5) / (SL + (HSRBDPS*5)) * HwSaSMM Where - SDMM=SamDaMan Multiplier (are you SDM?) [1] H = Hookers HwS = Hookers with Signs HwSaSMM = Hookers with Signs and Stupid Medieval Masks B = Basement SL = Soiled Loincloth PT = Pantera Tickets PBSP = Pantera Backstage Passes VD = Venereal Disease HSRBDPS = Highest Server Ranked Burst Damage Per Second C = Computer C(24) = 24 Computers C(24)HUwP= 24 Computers Held Up with Plywood Can we calculate for SDM? |

| Registered User | Core group might speed up your progression at first but you'll still hit a wall that requires catching the rest. It's probably a negligable amount of time saved if any at all. When whole guilds hit new games, from what I've seen, people level as fast as they can and the whole guild hits max level within a few weeks of each other. The whole time they're leveling, people are good about spreading good drops within guild to make it easier for the other people to level. That's really the best you can ask for unless you're running a sweat shop or something. |

I assume your experience has been roughly similar? Tell me, because I'm very curious: how did you get around the opposable thumb issue with the clothespins? It took us six Furors before we got that one right.
