If it was up to me this thread would be nuked in a fucking New York minute. Fuck you spammers and your gold digging bullshit. Get it the fuck off these boards. I'd tell you where you can stick your ChaCha, but you'd probably enjoy it too much.

Seacrest OUT, you dicknibbling cuntmonkeys.

Thats just my 2c, hope it helped someone out though.

Doesn't seem like spam to me. I'm signing up and getting in on this. Might as well get paid for what I was doing anyway... sitting on the computer scouring the dregs of the Internet for pointless information.

You don't need to own a company in order to advertise for it. What you've been roped into -- and what you're roping other people into -- is called a multilevel marketing scheme:

Multi-level marketing - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Multilevel marketing is not illegal in the same way that ponzi and pyramid schemes are illegal. But it's still annoying and exploitative, and we don't want it on these boards.

I think I've been extremely lenient in both not giving you the 2-week ban that is discussed in the "DO NOT ADVERTISE" post, and also in not deleting this thread. I didn't suspend your account, and I didn't delete this post, because I suspected this was an honest mistake -- that you really didn't know any better. But if you keep arguing with me about it, you're going to whittle down the benefit of the doubt I'm providing here.

Bottom line: don't solicit on these boards for any product or service. These boards are not your personal mailing list.

As I've said before, this is not open to negotiation or debate. Just stop posting threads like this on these boards. If you're unclear about anything, you can PM me. Stop trying to argue about it here.

I've left this thread up in the Rickshaw so that you and your existing group of "Chacha" people can continue your discussion. But I don't want to see anymore posts about this on the other forums, or any active recruiting efforts for this stuff on other threads.

Thank you for your understanding.

Dear Seacrest,

You could have made a few extra pennies. I read this, laughed, then checked the frontpage of the site. I will say for a DLM scheme this is one of the better designed ones.

I don't see how this fits the legal gray area of MLM at all, but I have almost no formal business education.

Seems pretty straight-forward:

1. Consumer asks question
2. We do grunt work and get paid

No where do I have to give up anything more than free time. No money leaves my hands ever.

P.S. How long does it take for these assholes to email me back so I can fill out the rest of the forms?

Yeah, it really doesn't look like a MLM scam to me, either. MLM scams generally require you to buy something from the scammer first, and then tell you to make that money back by getting other people to also "invest" and buy the same package from the scammer.

You don't send this website any money, nor do you send them sufficient information for them to steal your identity. The absolute worst thing they can do to you is have you answer questions for a month and then stiff you.

Don't bother - even if you offer concrete proof it's not MLM, it won't change anyone's mind here that matters.

if you feel like earning 20 cents for answering stupid questions would be worth your time, you probably need to spend less time on the internet.

Consider how much time you personally spend on the FoH boards. It takes more time to write out some of these posts then it would to answer a dumb ass question like "when is idol on?". You have spent hundreds of hours posting useless bullshit on the boards of a guild you are not even in. You also do this for free.

If you are going to be wasting that kind of time doing nothing of importance. Why not make a little extra cash?

I don't really care if you think it's a multilevel marketing scheme or not. There are no unsolicited advertisements, or unrequested solicitations for products and services, allowed on these boards -- regardless of the legal status of the products and services being offered.

If you're interested in advertising on the site, contact Requiem about it. Don't treat the boards like a personal mailing list.

Please don't make me repeat myself. I'm not in a very good mood today.

I sent an email in this morning out of curiosity more than anything else and was accepted as a guide later that afternoon. It might have helped that I told them to boiler up in the section why I should be a guide though.

For those of you that decided to try this and were able to take the sim test, did you figure out the answer to that damn bird question? I can't find the answer anywhere. Nobody seems to give a shit which bird can run the fastest amongst those capable of flying.
