Tuition: iD Gaming Academy - iD Tech Computer Camps I guess there are a number of "certified" Fata1ity strategy instructors (since the "camp" is offered at several locations) in which they teach you tricks and strategies on how to totally "pwn" ass in Unreal3. as you can see from their course schedule they're totally serious in teaching teenagers how to not suck gigantic ass. I can't understand why they would limit the age bracket, i guess so they don't have to deal with 18+ forum assholes? iDGA also runs some "legit" courses, in that the subject matter is actually academic (Maya), thought the Game Programming "course" seems bunk since the extent of your "programming" is to use the Unreal Editor. Both courses are age locked to 13-17. Looking over all 3 courses, they have the exact same week layout, they even manage to fit in some phys ed in for those fatties. Is this just a money grab from iD (and to an extent, Fata1ity) or something we should view as legit? I would be lying if I said I wouldn't want to go to such a gaming camp, but this seems way more mainstream/commercialized than something "I told you I was hardcore". I don't understand why iD is slutting out for Epic either. |

+2 Internets | Most misleading title ever. As for the real topic, its a total scam. Want to get better? Play more. Sure they can teach you little things, but nothing you wont pick up just by playing against people. Theres no "sekret sauce" here other then learning through repetition.
