Rep is really stupid. The rep points are often (if not always) favorable to the well-known. That is basically the point. It is relatively impossible for a board member to gain a decent amount of rep points unless they create a spectacular thread or post a series of images that dazzle the senses of the respective viewers. This gives the well-knowns an unfair advantage.

You would deliver the same shit if you were in my position. You are not, of course, and you have a dynamic position of relative authority and popularity. Due to that, it really doesn't matter what you bring to the table. You can serve up total bullshit, as the rep system, and pass it off as total win, and board members will kiss your ass and others that are well-known. It is totally biased and will actually detract from the entire continuiity of the community, as it has on other boards. People get too annoyed with rep to post and they become further annoyed with the people that constantly get a lot of positive rep solely because they hold a position of popularity, even if it has nothing to do with the content they post.

I have no fucking position over you. The only reason this system is thrown in is because I layed the shit out to Requiem for a week in person. There is no fucking way Requiem would allow some bullshit to be placed in FoH unless it delivered something.

NOTHING gets changed on FoH unless under direct permission from him. The second I made the change to FoH my usergroup gets instantly changed back to registered user. I'm no different than anyone else on this forum. Just some dumbdick with an idea that works.

I'm waiting to hear your plan for FoH. You still deliver nothing but nonsense armchair bullshit. Do you think Wolfen is #1 for no fucking reason at all? He is the fucking man, hands down. If you deliver quality posts than you should have no problem gaining internets. Stop your fucking crying.

Wolfen does not need a shitty rep system to say that he is the fucking man. Everyone on this board that actually participates and views the popular threads already is well aware of that. Credibility is not gained by a stupid rep system, but what you actually do.

Am I a stand out on this board? Hell no. I am not presuming that I am of that status. Are you? Have you posted what it takes to actually be entitled to Wolfen-like rep? Fuck no. Millie? Everyone seemingly loves millie, mostly because everyone simply wants to get into her pants. OR - At the very least, coax some pix out of her so they can pass judgement to all the hype.

The rep system is totally stupid. It has lead to nazi-esque moderating on other popular forums. And, it will inevitably prevent good material from making it to this board.

Anyone who is this concerned with a rep system that is nothing but cosmetic should probably stop posting. One big benefit of having a rep system is that people who really give a fuck whether people on a message board think they are cool are typically very bad posters. Anything that makes them shut the fuck up is a good thing.

By the way, since the rep system is anonymous, I really don't know how much ass-kissing people can do through it. Ultimately I think this is a system that works and you should get a tampon.

I will be interested to see how reps pan out over the next few months.
