I admited that like everyone else who's paid attention to Wright's vocal speeches at the NAACP or the National Press Club, we know the relevant content and form of not just 99.9% of his sermons but all 100% of it. WRIGHT himself has openly exclaimed how "reasonable" and "sensible" he thinks his sermons were. Not ONLY has Wright confirmed what he has been preaching for the last 20 years WITHOUT ANY EQUIVOCATION WHATSOEVER, he has continued to leave no doubt that he remains as vocal a supporter of Farrakhan and his message even to the NAACP, long after Obama's "denunciation" of him. I, you and ANYONE who can pay attention know the full depth and range of Wright's message without needing to sit through ALL of his sermons __nor__ listening to some FOX or MSNBC interpretation of them, just listen to the man summarize it himself. Are you saying you need more "LOLZEVIDENCE" of Wright's caustic bullshit? You think the fact that noone gives enough of a shit to record ALL of his 20 years of sermons onto youtube is some kind of fucking GOTCHA? LMAO. Why would ANYONE need to fucking guess about Obama's genuine affection for Jeremiah Wright's message when Obama waxed poetic about his conversion into Wright's interpretation of Liberation Theology in his book Dreams of Our Fathers and then Obama expanded on his admiration for Wright's brazen hatemongering in this later book, written ALMOST A DECADE LATER, The Audacity of Hope. Hell, The Audacity of Hope was even titled after one of Wright's most fervent speeches. In fact, up until Obama's staff decided it might not be politically convenient, Obama was PROUD to select Jeremiah Wright to officially announce his presidential candidacy for him, only changing his mind at the last minute. Despite 20 years of fond--and in Obama's own words---tearful acquiescence in the hateful victimization-based pity-politics that Wright championed, we're expected to believe that Obama has really changed his mind about the man who baptised him into christianity no more than 19 years ago? You still confused? You still wondering why a man like Wright, who grew up in the lap of middle-class affluence, would find so much to hate about America when black folks like Justice Clarence Thomas and Condi Rice who were REAL victims of oppression elevated themselves and their community DESPITE IT? You still confused why anyone would need to sit through a thousand sermons when Wright himself is more than happy to summarize his decades of hatred on National TV? | Hey Republicans. Jim Webb is your worst nightmare. You better hope he is not the VP pick. Obama and Webb perfectly offset each other. Webb is dry enough and has the conservative credentials to get Republicans. Jim Webb is the messiah. If Webb gets the VP and Obama wins. Webb will change the Democratic party forever as will Obama. That may mean the end of the Republican party as we know it. Democrats would be in power for 16 straight years. Under a Webb presidency, Republicans would leave your dysfunctional party of hatred, lies, and distortions in droves. I can not wait to see the disintegration and destruction of the Republican party. I will popping champagne for a month in celebration. That time is on the horizon. Last edited by I'm Rich Bitch : 06-14-2008 at 01:59 PM. |

+15 Internets | This is what the Republicans thought as recent as 2005 - just with their party on top. Of course underestimating your opponent is the biggest mistake you can make. The second biggest is setting the bar too high for yourself: in debates, Obama is going to have to put up a stellar performance, whereas McCain will have done well already if nobody in the audience falls asleep. |

This election comes down to Rev. Wright. Do people think Obama is Wright or not. That is the question. The answer to that question will determine the next President. Any other issue does not matter. The Republican party and their media outlets have brought political discussion down to the gutter. The gutter will decide elections for generations to come.

Do a quick search of Webb's politics real quick. Why don't you spend just a little time scrutinizing Webb's history and where his experience really comes from. Why don't you look at the reason he QUIT. That's asking too much already isn't it? You couldn't be bothered to look into Obama's history for any evidence of FAULT, how could we expect you to look into Webb's past for evidence of MERIT. You would pop that champaigne and realize you're voting for the single most hegemonic military thinker of his generation: the very dude who wrote Micronesia and U.S. Pacific Strategy--a book which advocated preemptive action a full two decades before GWB. You would be making your toast in tribute of the guy Paul Wolfowitz himself called "the most aggressive strategist in Washington". You would be voting for the guy that was RONALD REAGAN'S secretary of the Navy but who had to resign because HE REFUSED to obey a congressional order to reduce the Navy's strength near the end of the cold war. You think Dick Cheney was a cold warrior? This dude makes Oliver North look like an eagle scout wannabe. Not only does Webb THREATEN the left's faustian deal with the irrational antiwarniks that helped them squeeze a 2006 victory (which they wasted), but he would seal the final dislodgement of the Clinton moderates away from the Democrats. As astonishing as your ability to misplace Al Gore and three decades of Tennessee Democratic service, this may just rank up there in your mounting pile of humiliating Faux Pas. "Afraid" of Jim Webb? LMAO. You wanna know who suggested a Webb candidacy around here as far back as mid 2006? Go ahead and make a search. Last edited by Khorum : 06-14-2008 at 06:45 PM.

+4 Internets | Phil Gramm was the red flag for me. Introducing that de-regulation legislation really fucked some folks. That kind of shadow market 'betting' has become a huge part of the market now. In his defense, when he endorsed this crap in 2001, I doubt Phil knew WTF it was. |

| John McCain is blatantly lying about Obama's stand on taxes as he lied about Romney's stand on pulling out of Iraq during the Republican primary. McCain is repeating over and over that Obama wants to raise taxes. Obama has repeatedly said he is lowing taxes. At best, McCain is senile and can not understand Obama's position on taxes or at worst he is just lying for political gain. McCain is very confused on a host of issues. That is of great concern. McCain shows his age each time he speaks. He should not be allowed to become President because of his age. We need a age cut off on President. John McCain is not fit to be President because of his old age. It is really as simple as that. Last edited by I'm Rich Bitch : 06-15-2008 at 08:52 AM. |
