I am not Obama nor do I represent Obama. If I had my way we would only have about 10 states in the US. Cause no one from either side has ever brought up the other's family. I heard plenty from the left last election cycle about George Bush's partying alcoholic daughters, chips right off the old block. Or John Kerry bringing up Cheney's gay daughter.


Of course attacking families tends to lose as many votes from people who think less of you as it gains you from people who think less of your opponent. But to expect that no one is going to look from dumb things your family has done in their past, that's just naivety.

Jesus christ.. halfway through that video I was thinking to myself "Man his age is really starting to show" and by the end I was thinking "Holy crap IRB saying McCain is flip flopping all over the place really wasn't exaggerating!"

Those were one time phases and not part of a bigger smear campaign. The Republican party has a full out attack on Michelle Obama over comments that she has since clarified. Not only that but they have reached back on a old college thesis in or order to try to gain another avenue of attack and create some type of militant black narrative. They will stop at nothing to try to paint Obama as a modern day black militant since lies and smears are the only way they can possibly win.

You will not hear any new ideas or valid issue positions from the Republicans. They will only launch a full out attack against Obama. In many cases, they will not even say McCain's name except in passing. For 8 years they protected Bush and now they will reap the rewards from such loyalty. I find it amazing that they are trying to distance themselves from Bush and his polities now. If Rev. Wright gets McCain elected President, do you really think he has the Leadership and new ideas to take this country into the future? Bashing Obama over Rev. Wright will not help the Iraq situation, the Iran situation, the economy nor any other pertinent issue on the table.

You can not equate the dysfunctional smear attacks of the GOP to anything coming from the Democrats, even from the Hillary campaign. Outside of smear attacks against Obama, what intelligent ideas have been put on the table from McCain, Bush or any Republican since Ronald Reagan? At least Hillary tried to run a campaign on issues at the beginning before her "Vote White"
slogan started.

By October, the GOP will take their type of politics to the next level of disgrace. It will even be worse than this when Republican Jesse Helms, an out of the closet racist, from NC ran against a black man in 1990:

You haven't "stayed on the issues" in months. Every time someone questions you on these boards, you keep bringing up Wright. In fact, you're the only one around here who consistently keeps bringing him up.

I did not say that but the extreme right and left base must be on board. The Candidate does not have to agree with everything they say and should move to the middle but that activist base is critical for grass roots organization. In the case of the Democrats, it is moveon.org/George Soros. In the case of the Republicans it is the unholy trinity of Hannity/Limbaugh/Coulter.

The Republican party is known as the home of American conservatives. Being a Gerald Ford/Nelson Rockefeller Republican is no longer in vogue and not what the Republican media has staffed up to support. Rupert Murdoch did not build his global propaganda outlet to support a Rockefeller Republican agenda. McCain is not even a Rockefeller Republican. He is some type of Democrat/Independent/Maverick flip flopping Candidate.

I am sure Murdock is very pissed that McCain is the Republican Candidate however his machine has been staffed and geared to distribute misinformation on Democrats that would make even Joseph Goebbels proud so they continue on.
