Anyone following this game? It's being made by David Allen. He was the guy behind Horizons. He actually has a thread on the site explaining his side of that mess.

I can't find the thread where he talks about Horizons.

BTW, Horizons still has the best crafting system to date. =p

Funny you bring this and David Allen up. I played Horizons for about a year and despite performance issues and lack of content, I enjoyed their world events (freeing of cities from the control of undead, etc.), the ability to multi-class/hybrid class in a level-based environment as well as learn multiple tradeskill professions (although the grind was painful) and the idea of a non-human race (dragons). Also, before forgetting it, the speed bonus from staying on a road

On the down side, while I'm interested in seeing what features come up, the website looks like something for the sight-impaired, and the screenshots and UI look like wow-cloned shit (yes I know, early in development, beta, etc., they still look awful).

EDIT: Yeah, Draegan, thought the same thing, esp. with the UI: "Westfall by braille."

Er, is that screenshot real? Half of me wants to say it's a joke. I mean I know most modern MMOs are ripping off WoW, but...

Edit: NM, checked out the site for myself and they have plenty more. Ridiculous.

I agree the game has work that needs to be done. I think it a game that might be worthy of checking out in the future tho.

The entire UI is a rip off of the default UI for WoW. I'm hoping they'll make it different (The Horizons UI was neat).

Sorry man but it looks like he deleted it. To paraphrase he basically said that the finished version of Horizons what not his. He said upper management came in and took over.

How can you say this game is worthy of checking out? He blatantly STOLE everything from WoW's UI and even the zone, and not only that but it looks like shit compared to WoW. I don't see one piece of tangible evidence to support your claim.
