+5 Internets | In a blatant senior moment or perhaps a precursor to Alzheimer's I resubscribed just to see whats changed since I last played. Hitching for me is still a right pita issue, no CTD in the couple hours I traveled around though. I'm on Seradon FWIW, I have a couple characters in the high 40's that I'll probably play a little. I still don't have much of a desire to put anything more that some very casual play time in but if I see anyone one on I'll shoot you a tell. |

| Headgear should remain one of the lower priorities in VG. They need to fix the models (removing da excess bones and moving them back to the better beta models and beta selection options). They need to finish APW and add at least one other group-centric endgame dungeon (for the smaller guilds) that isn't a grindfest like Tahatamani. They need to start on the followup to APW. And they need to finish their performance boosts -- particularly in Khal and NT. But lag has been shitty in Rahz lately -- so they need to work on wtf is causing that.

| Well, they just stated that raid content will be pushed out right after Thanksgiving they are also going to combine phase 2 and 3. The fires set them back a week and a half or so.

| After restarting the launchpad about 25 times over a 2 day period, I finally got it and resubbed. Some things are much better--some things are still godawful. I /switchserver'd to Seradon to roll with you guys with my 35 bard or 15 Blood Mage or...yeah. Just whatever. Pissed that I lost all my names though, apparently with the merger some douchebag who doesn't even play anymore got both my names. |

| I never understood this bullshit with helmets and the masses of people still bitching about this. Get the fuck over it, you probably will never be able to see helms in this game, and so fucking what? If it ruins your game play experience so much not seeing that tin can on your head, then you should of already quit by now.

| Just want to reiterated something about hitching for those using XP. The only tip I ever got that showed marked improvement in hitching was to turn off DEP in XP. 1. Click Start 2. Select Control Panel 3. Select System 4. Click the Advanced tab 5. In the Performance region select Settings 6. Click the Data Execute tab in the dialog box that opens 7. Select Turn on DEP for all programs and services except for those I select 8. Click Add. 9. The open dialog box will open. Browse and select your application. (vgclient.exe -- should be in C:\Program Files\Sony\Vanguard\bin ) 10. Click Open 11. Click Apply 12. Click Ok 13. Reboot An explanation for why DEP can cause problems for VG from TSR-JasonC: Quote:

| Honestly, the fact that they have no hotfixed alleviate 5 is amazing. They hotfix fucking parachute bug, but not every class being able to train the max-level cleric heal-over-time? Give me a break.

| I've heard rumors that it was an 'intentional bug.' Meaning, this was their back-alley way of balancing out non-healing classes. Honestly, with them not hot-fixing it, and even releasing a regular patch without fixing it, I believe it. Theres not a valid explanation why they can't change one variable on cleric trainers. It just doesn't add up.
