Difference between 1 year ago and today:

1. Performance has improved.
2. End Game Raiding

All the other bugs are still there for the most part. It's still a large empty world.

Just like VG bashers at launch were equating it with how the game was in beta phase [insert random number]?

However, the state it is in now doesn't detract from the entertainment factor of hearing new perspectives on the meltdown part.

If it ended up the greatest game ever somehow, it wouldn't make the debacle part less interesting.

Gonna have to take issue with that little part. VG didn't fail because of what was in the game or the concepts it was founded on, it failed because they weren't delivered properly and working.

I think most people quit much before getting to 40. I don't see end game as one of the top 5 issues with VG. It is great the fans of the game now have an end game but I seriously doubt there are new people joining the game at a level below 50.

Now i don't have anything against VG, i don't like it but if others have fun playing it good for them.
But she for a game...that's a little too far. I must be too old.

Fair enough. Well here's hoping that someday someone does write a book on this thing.

after a full year of release, half the shit on the box still isn't in the game (flying mounts, inquisitor class, beserker class, fellowships, any purpose to owning a boat). not to mention a lot of the quests are still broken, it's still buggy (although somewhat improved) and there is only 1 raid dungeon in the game. i went back for the free trial of ex-players and it still feels like i'm playing a beta.

i think the biggest problem for the game is that brad promised helen of troy and delivered rosie o'donnell.

fellowships are in the game, as are flying mounts, albeit limited, but I guess the quest is coming in GU4. note, I don't play anymore.

Tylenol = Acetaminophen (US) = Paracetamol (The entire rest of the sodding planet).

my point is that you still can't own a flying mount. rented mounts are fun, but there were supposed to be quested mounts in the game by now. i didn't know that fellowships were in the game now, my bad.

We try to be completely different than anyone else, that way nobody knows what we are talking about.
