My new venture is to develop an automated grammar error alert live internet program for grumpy, so he can get live info on any site he visits when someone mis-types "their" for "there" or "your" for "you're". Complete with automated text messaging alerts for his cell phone, with direct link up to the site in question with the touch of the # key via any cell phone provider in North Dakota. And a special phone with a go go gadget keyboard that pops out automatically upon alert.

I could have used one anytime a dev posted! So I know first and foremost how I can make an impact on Grumpy's internet life.

I can attest to that. One time I remember thinking when I was high how sad it really should be that I was using drugs to feel good, but being so happy that I couldn't care at all about that.

Looks like Sigil is destined to go down as this decade's Ion Storm. They might not have spent millions on the offices but the rest of the story (product hyperhype, irrealistic design goals, gross mismanagement, staffed mostly by newcomers, egos of gargantuan proportions, etc) is eerily similar except for the leader doing hard drugs.

I've been able to substantiate most of what Tec said with people that I know who worked there at Sigil at the time. As fucked up as it sounds, that is exactly how fucked up it was.

I'm not sure what Tec's motivation was for posting about it, but I sure as hell don't have any reason to doubt him.
