| I think they are just going to turn into ground mounts after the holidays. The description on the Reindeer says they lose power after the Gloriann festival or someshit.

I long for the days of grouping for 90% of my gameplay time (not raids either), i freaking hate solo grinding exp. But at the same time I loathe of the days I would sit for 4 hours LFG at some zoneline like a beggar asking for spare change. (everquest and FF, not VG)

| Nah, they just think having to group to do anything is lame as hell. And it is. They want to log in and be able to play how they want, solo, group, raid, pvp, etc. when they want, not at the whim of other people.

+49 Internets | A player should be able to log some meaningful progress with minimal groupage in terms of leveling. Equipment and et all should come primarily from grouping. Games like FFXI showed how shitty it was if you didn't have an optimal group...you literally could do jackshit until a spot opened, then prayed you didn't lose XP because of some morons.

| I dont understand what the beef is. While I have not played in a while, there was enough content for both group and solo to get to the cap in VG. While most of the group content was circled around dungeons and some group quests, I dont see this any diffrent than WoW. Before I quit I got a shammy to lv 30+ with minimal group shit. So what is the beef again with grouping vs solo?

| I can tell you right now, you WILL want to group. I'm arguably the worst solo class (rogue) and I can still solo at a good pace (1% every 2-3 min from kills), but grouping is insane right now. If you get a good group (pugs are about 50 times better than in wow), you fly through the levels. I think I did 6 levels in the last 2 nights. |

| At level 17 the bugs are finally starting to get to me. I'm a shaman and the problems with my Hayatet pet are driving me insane. It will randomly disappear or fly off at times, its main dmg spell gets bugged to where it only casts once and gets stuck, making me have to resummon. The constant gliding around instead of running, which at first I didn't mind too much, but now is becoming beyond annoying, especially on mounts. Speaking of mounts, I've fallen off the reindeer twice and the drake once while high in the air, 2 out of 3 times I have died and landed a spot nearly impossible to recover my corpse. The whether effects are acting up too. Instead of rain it snows, and occasionally falls at x500 the normal rate causing my FPS to drop horribly. Done a couple timed quests where I ended up flying quite a distance only to find the NPC wasn't there. The programming on the weapons conflict sometimes too. When I equip a shield, my main hand disappears and vice versa. Items sometimes look equipped even though they don't even belong to me (no not the preview). There are few other things that I can't think of right now that have messed with me so far. At its base, its a fun game but small things like this are starting to get to me. I'll casually play to the end of the double exp period to see if these problems keep up. If they do, i'll have to put it away for awhile.

| The Littlest Hobo of MMOs | Well, I thought I'd give it a shot and see how much the game has improved. So far, I'd have to say I notice very little difference from when I quit. Still lagging in large cities and areas with large numbers of npcs/pcs, the same bugs and glitches are present on my necro pet now as there were back in April, and there are still a myriad of other graphical anomalies including clothing, mounts, architecture. It's sad really because using the reindeer to unlock all the waypoints the other day I was stunned by the size and quality of the world and left wishing they could somehow make this work but I just don't know if that's possible. |
