Anyone notice that thier mana/hp were 300 instead of the 128 (or whatever) cap?

It is my understanding that the cap is suposed to have been removed a couple of patch ago. (Edit: ok not removed but put higher :P)

Obviously they are preparing ground for PoP. Not a bad idea to put these important changes live carefully and one after the other. Maybe we can hope for a PoP release without 3 weeks of constant patching.

well... if it's 300 it rules out 255 as a data cap... 512?

Actually I'll be amazed if PoP launches, I can even log onto the game. More importantly if I can log on, if my characters are not one of the following A: deleted B: naked C: changed into a different class entirely and D: If I don't get a big message in red bloody letters saying "FUCK YOU BUY EQ2"

I'm gonna farm cloth armor, with those sort of screw ups going around, it might have 300 hp on it as well eventually wuwu~

My guess would be that they are going from 8 bit to 16 bit so a cap of +/- 32768. Just a guess. /shrug

Nothing more annoying than people who can't add anything of substance to a thread, so they have to use these lame, rehashed pictures that are all over the internet.

Anyway, it's nice to hear that VI may have removed a cap that shouldn't have been there in the first place. Given the provided suggestions, it seems they applied a lot of effort into doing it.
