Ah, by beat up I believe you mean when I said something of the lines of "if you spoke to me like that in rl I would give you a slap" and to be quite fair, I would. But as your memory is obviously made up of events that you have changed to make yourself seem right in all things then no matter what I say I will be wrong, so why bother. I'm not actually sure why it showed as first post anyway as I did make a few posts back about 03/04 but oh well, now my frst few posts may have helped rickshaw a thread so I feel my momentary weakness during a rather slow period at work was well used.

In any case, I found such a statement rather foolish, especially coming from a skinny and rather harmless looking guy like you, so I answered that I wouldn't be so sure about it and since the whole idea of a fight is totally ridiculous, I tried to make a joke and added the hint about my kickboxing title which actually dates back to '85. Looks like it was a pretty good joke, because it still gets quoted so many years later.../shrug.

Besides that, when I wrote about state championships or second place finishes in various sports, you have to realize that Germany has 16 states. It's not that big of deal to be champion of New England either.
