Observations of an EQ2 Player after 1 Week of WoW

EQ2's UTTERLY LUDICROUS itemization is one of the biggest things that put me off from it. Wow.

EQ2 has so many great concepts in it, but holy SHIT itemization is horrible. We've talked about this many times in greater detail here in the past.

The effects of stats in this game are (were, at least) horrible too. If you weren't fighting tough mobs, having no gear at all was virtually no different from having the best gear you could have for your level.

I haven't played in nearly a year, so dunno if that changed.

EQ2's combat has a little more depth than that...your really over generalizing. Yoru example covers pretty much every MMORPG ever made..

I don't know anything about Club Fu in EQ2, but I've heard it's led by the same person ("Pouty") who leads the EQ1 Club Fu.

I myself used to be in the guild back before Velious up to Luclin-ish (I can hardly remember myself now," and, like many people who quit, couldn't take him anymore.

The guild is led by a 30+ year old man who lives with his grandmother and doesn't have a job.
