Fucked up.

They really need to bring back the guide program - Guides where probably the single best invention someone ever came up with for mmorgs, people with a clue about the game, and an interest in helping people out, why not take advantage of that? :/

Yes, people who had a clue, but had zero empowerment to actually help people. I was a renegade Guide, who would pretty much rez or corpse summon anyone who asked, but if you were to actually follow the protocol, Guides were extremely limited in what they could do.

May as well have made a hotkey: "I'll escalate your issue to a GM. Sorry."

Can't be certain, it's been years, but I do remember ACTUAL GMs having tags by their names.

Furthermore the answers he got weren't c/p'd responses, but typed out by someone trying to sound official.

I may be wrong, but something smells like ass and it ain't smedley.

I remember the GM guild tags back in the day, not sure if that still exist.

found this on google image search, our gms had a similar name (though they were all sort of different).

Can't speak for eq1, but eq2 CS seems to be helpful if you have an actual problem, or if someone is hacking. THey seem to let botters go unhindered.

But come on, you fell for that shit? did you also invest in N!jambo Kbembe, the first nigerian astronaut's attempt to transfer the money to the us?
