While Pheonix's spamming of that forum was retarded, those of you who believed that they were kids were nearly as retarded. I can hear the protests already, "But it's a kid's toy!" That would make sense, except you forgot one thing--this is the internet, and it's a fucked up place.

To paraphrase: You take too much for granted. Especially when you try to impose real-world logic onto a place where you can find videos of people sucking horse cock and shooting ping-pong balls out of their vaginas.

A baity pony is basically a really crappy pony, whose has been deemed not worthy of collecting or restoring, thus becoming custom bait. It's the lowest rank of MLP quality: Mint, Excellent, Very Good Condition, Fair, Poor, Bait. One of the main pony communities was trying to put together a guide with very specific deffinitions to pony conditions, although I don't know what ever happened to it. There are some collectors who think the only pony that is bait worthy must have gone through the garbage disposal twice after being soaked in acid for the last decade. Others consider anything with pen marks or a hair trim bait condition.

Here is a pretty good example of a baity pony. She has hair cuts, drawn on eye shadow, missing wings, and cracked plastic by her mouth

I think you should change the Bait level to Glue.

And this really doesn't seem all that odd as far as collecting hobbies go, I bet their average hobbist isn't quite as disturbing as the average MTG player. Probably more girls too.

Most pony collectors are surprisingly normal from the offset. It's just when you see the inside of their pony rooms that most people become disturbed by it. And almost all collectors are girls, who on occasion discuss very interesting topics, such as nipple piercing and spandex
