+5 Internets | The "fetter" thing Some months ago (I don't know how many at this point, only that I became aware of it about a month before the Fan Faire) the spell Fetter stopped being scribable by Enchanters. Enchanters, like myself, who already had the spell could still and did use it, but anyone knew who tried to scribe the spell was forbidden to do so. I was only made aware of it by a friend who was eagerly twinking up an enchanter for fun and ran headlong into the problem. I then looked to the enchanter boards for verification and found that it had been a problem for awhile already and people had been /bug reporting it to death with no sign of any progress. I sat down myself that very night and filled out a /bug report and also went to the Verant boards and filled out a bug submission form. I know I did it. I know lots of other enchanters who did it. Yet when the question was brought up before the Devs at the Fan Faire they reacted as if it was brand new news. I know they have several hundred thousand players, but I cant imagine that even 1% of them submits a /bug report every month. Surely even ONE person who did even a modest subsample of the /bug reports to actually look at would have run across this one and other bugs that persist in the game until someone makes a BIG DEAL out of them on a messageboard. Hell offsource the problem to volunteers that you trust. I'm sure if asked each major guild in the game would agree to volunteer one of their players as a peer-review board for such things as /feedback and /bug. Let the players themselves who really care about the game be the first filter for the reports that really need to be read by a higher up. To those of us who have been faithful to the game it seems as if the current Dev Team is made up of individuals who are disgruntled that they don't get to work on EQ2, PoP, Galaxies or some other high-profile project. |

+13 Internets | Better comeback? I haven't 0wnz0r3d anyone that hard in years What I posted about is about as REAL as it's gonna get for you - aside from the fact that you may or may not be an anorexic crack whore. P.S. When you say you're going to the beach, does that mean the sandbox and blow up Super Mario Bro's pool behind your trailer? I'm confused. BTW, are you touring the country? Will we get to see your elf-ness in San Francisco? Do they let you backstage if you show em your tits? Only time will tell! |

| Tsk Tsk. Caught something I didn't the first time around, let me again correct you. guide abilities? You have to be a guide to do that hun, I am not. For someone who supposably detests politics as much as you...Why do you keep diving in them? Perhaps having a lousy day? Quote:

My mottos is...if you can do it and get away with it, why not? I'm no supermodel by any stretch of the imagination, but I do have fun. Does anything else matter? Hell no. Quote:
Sylvos... as for the beach... Beach was filled with some pretty freaky people today, Didnt even step in the ocean, just turned around and went back via Subway. Buuuuut....All is not lost! I can still get some exellent clubbing in tonight, just as soon as that pesky sun goes down.

| hmm I havent really been following this discussion but this statement was fun: quote: as for the beach... Beach was filled with some pretty freaky people today, Didnt even step in the ocean, just turned around and went back via Subway. Buuuuut....All is not lost! I can still get some exellent clubbing in tonight, just as soon as that pesky sun goes down. end quote. Why is it that most people posting things like that are the ones with bad self esteem, so-so looks and an eternal bad hair day. If you were the beachgoing clubhopping person you try make us believe you are, you wouldnt care wether or not the EQ fanfactory reading this thread knew about your glamourus days. I hope that pesky sun got som tan on that white trash nose of yours. Not that it had any chance in the second you spent at the (imaginary?) beach whilst realising how stupid your new specially made elven look dark green swimsuit looked outside the geekshop, eventually making your way home to another safe evening in front of the puter. sorry for flaming or making an attempt at it but I fucking hate people that say stuff like "no, I didnt do cool_thing 01 because of bla_bla_bla_01, but tonight I will do cool_thing_02 for sure!" that was my monthly post right there. see you ![]() |

| Two words for you, for starters.. You're Annoying. Wait, let me rephrase that, 3 words. You're Very Annoying. We aren't talking some newb asking a warrior for SoW repeatedly kind of annoying either, or someone flicking your ear kind of annoying. We're talking insidious, get right under your skin, chalkboard scratching annoying. The kind of annoying when the obligatory tell from you would come in, the person would just freeze on the spot like a deer caught in the headlights of a big rig. We met you in Seattle. You were innocent enough, none of us knew quite what you were capable of, but by the end of it we wished you'd disappear completely. Then we found out you transfered to Veeshan to try and join the guild. Somebody pass me the prozac! Fortunately, it was pretty clear that you weren't going to be guilded, no one had the heart to break it to your bottomfeeding self tho. /tell support networks were set up so people could vent about your constant, innane chatter spam, attempts to ignore you were foiled by you camping our bind spots in the bazaar looking for someone whom you could annoy completely and utterly. Finally, enough was enough, and it was made quite clear you weren't gonna be getting anywhere with this guild. I hear you're moving to Test server.. the guild there's already worried. As for not being a guide, I call bullshit on you, miss. Maybe you quit/got booted from it since Seattle, but you most definitely were an asskiss guide at that point. Whether you still are now or are just an asskiss period is beside the point really. But have faith, and always remember, you don't play a rogue, you ARE a rogue! Cheers! |

| The problem with email and in game complaint methods is that there is ZERO accountability for Verant. They are much more accountable when the complaint is made on a public forum. The more people there are aware of the problem the more noise they'll make and the less likely Verant is to bury or ignore the complaint. As is said, the squeaky wheel gets the grease. |
