| Unacceptable WoW login queues Login queues have appeared and continued to lengthen since Christmas. The login queue on Argent Dawn hit 1200 people/2 hours yesterday. This is way beyond the realm of being acceptable. My casual friends have already sworn off WoW until the queues are gone. Having key classes go LD during a raid (MC, BWL, whatever) and have to wait for them to go through the queue again is a morale killer. Personally, it's difficult to get excited about Ahn'Qiraj when I spend half my evening in the login queue. When are players going to start seeing some real information and results from "blue", instead of vague "we're working on it" bullshit answers? Someone from Blizzard needs to stop spending their time making money hats and needs to step up to the community to explain what the problem is, and what Blizzard is actively doing to rectify it. |

Mal'Ganis saw queues over the Christmas holiday. Despite being one of the original servers, our pop was relativly low, so Blizz made us the default US pvp server for a while. So in a few months we went from low/med pop, low lag server to a queue'd laggy ass server. It does, however, seem that blizz has closed our server to new people. Not a bad response, wish it was a few weeks ago tho.

| Stormscale has seen the first queues ever the last couple of weeks. Nothing like Argent Dawn or some of the larger servers, but Stormscale was one of the dead/low-pop PvP servers for the longest time. I don't know if they've dramatically reduced the concurrent population limit, or if alot of people are seriously rolling here, but it sucks. I hope with the "new server hardware" they are rolling out, they can double or more the concurrent population. |

| We have it worse on Kil'Jaedan and we can't seem to get any response. At peak time it takes between 10 minutes and 40 minutes to get to your character list (retrieving character, not queue) and then it takes between 10 minutes and 30 minutes to get through the loading screen. After that the lag spikes between 400 and 1200 :'( I'm not exagerating here, it's that bad! |

| elune saw something similiar happen to it. they've been shifting the "default" server around for new players to fill up the low and medium pop servers, while launching multiple new servers on a just about weekly basis. We're up to 125 or so now for NA. Problem is the populations haven't plateau'd, not even close, the game is still constantly growing in players. There hasn't been a moment where they could say "Ok, populations have stabilized, we now know we have X players on Y servers and need to smooth this out X/2 players on Y*2 servers. Until they add character moves and about 50 more new servers to transfer to (like they did recently with the move only servers) login queues are going to be an issue. the BG/honor system certainly doesn't help, but serverwide, interfaction BG queues should rectify that if they ever implement it. |

+5 Internets | I honestly haven't seen a login queue since release on Mal'Ganis. However, it was AV weekend and Mal'Ganis Horde saw 5 hour BG queues. 5 goddamn hours. Any word yet on cross-server BGs? |

I've given up on my horde characters because the wait for BG's is ridiculous.

| When the wait was only 10-15 minutes, I could take it... you just queue up a little early, read some intrawebs, watch your DVR'd shows, but now that its pushing 30-45 minutes everynight, its getting ridiculous. They really need to find a way to get people on the iron they have that is underused asap, instead of making modest upgrades to the busy servers, to add a few more % capacity. Its a waste when infrastrucure (ie the bottom 20% of servers in population) is going underused. |

| well the fact that The us servers Gained about 400 THOUSAND players since thanksgiving has nothing to do with this fact... yes that many new accounts were activated... they KNOW about the queue's they are working on a new datacenter and new hardware for all the servers. all that is needed is patience... sucks i know (my servers queue last nite was 500 long) but in time it will get better. first thing they should do is shut down all existing "full" servers (ones that regularly have queues in primetime over 200) from being able to create a character on said server- unless you already have a char on that server... then they should- post AQ opening- do on the largest population servers, do flat out server Splits 1 full server becomes two med population servers.... but that is just my opinion |

I finally scored a Bonereavers this weekend and ran around to try and test it out. I stumbled on 43 Horde before I found one alliance (and he was lvl 53.) WTB Alliance that leave Ironforge.

They were typically short, 5 minutes or less, like 30 people tops, but they popped up occasionally. The bigger problem is the massive lag and server shittyness (more than before).
