Twilight Flamereaver's Fire shield hits you for 1 fire damage (+5 vulnerability bonus).

What the fuck is that shit? I'm taking 2-5x the damage reported in my damage window while in silithus. What the fuck. Seriously, what the fuck?

Also, GMs only giving me webpages which don't answer my questions is useless. Please, let them give honest answers. The people that exploited the bijou quest to get exalted zandalar got a 3 hour suspension and their faction reset, that's bullshit. You need to announce exactly what punishments are given for what rule violations, and you need to make publicly available what accounts these actions are taken against. Stop protecting the identity of cheaters and gold farmer/sellers. Your customer service is terrible.

Edit to add: Fuck you Tigole and Furor. You guys suck. There's no way you'd be silent if VI/SOE pulled half the shit blizzard is pulling.

I think it's well within reason to let people that turn in cheaters know exactly what action are taken against exploiters. If you don't make the punishments public, no one gives a shit, especially when you get a 3 hour vacation for skipping hundreds of hours of gameplay (ZG exploit)

This is a good example of starting with a decent gripe, and then because your a moron, making a fuckup post about it. I'm no bandwagoner, but it is worth mentioning that you would probably be lucky to receive a response from the Black Hand before this thread is A. Rickshawed or B. Locked and allowed to sink slowly, like a turd.

Anyway.

It seems there there is a new mechanic in game that has something to do with people being vulnerable to certain types of damage? And you felt this was ninjaed in without any word from Blizzard?

On the cheating and banning side I know exactly what you mean and I think that's pretty stupid to reason that way. If you live in a frontier town without laws and you keep stealing from the blacksmith, don't you think that after a while the sheriff would just bust your ass and make some punishment up on the spot? Cheating is cheating and if those fuckheads are actually mad at blizzard for punishing them, I can only wish Blizzard had just permanently banned them.
Now, if they would use a diffirent punishment next time in the same situation, that would really be something to raise angry fists about.

imo the problem iwth the GM staff is

it's too big for what they have setup, noone knows what is going on anymore.

they need to keep the same number of gm's (0ver 300 now for us servers alone) but need to get the information to them better my GM friend is as fustrated as you guys over some issues.

Blizzard won't care until WoW starts tanking subscription wise. Than Vivendi gets mad and tells Blizzard to fix it. Now they just sit back and laugh, cause 4 million morons are paying them 15 bucks a month to play a shitty game. Rememeber when hero classes were supposed to be a free add on?

vulnerability bonus isn't a new mechanic, and the total should include any bonus damage in it, btw. Doesn't look like it is for your example, unless the things were hitting for negative damage. So something has a 6 point damage shield...uh...and?
