Can we get rid of the dx9 msg box already?

If you're too stupid not to have installed it yet you deserve to crash. This shit is so annoying when logging in or out.

I had to re-install it to get the message to go away....

I am not sure if I had 9b before or not perhaps it needs the newest newest version or something.

Will have to try reinstalling 9b when I get home then. I've had to click that stupid OK box since god went live every time ;x

I have 9.0b on all my machines. That message only appeared on the XP machines once. On my Win ME machine it comes up every time I hit server select, even though I have 9.0b on that machine.

After thinking this over in great detail for one or two seconds I have come to the conclusion that it is the result of shitty programming.

I have 9b on both of my machines, but I only get the box when running EQW. Never get it running the game straight up.

I already had 9 on both my boxes. I got the popup once on one machine, and never on the other. /shrug

My guess is you need to run a complete file check when EQ starts up.

heh, coincidentally I get a DX9b confirmation box every time I start Eve Online. Seems that maybe there is a bug with DX that it doesn't report the right version or something.
