I don't understand the motivations of nerd rage on the internet either, but that doesn't stop me to be mildly entertained by it.

On the matter of subject: I someones like Kreugen, from who I never saw even a single shit post, as well as other quality posters, say "good riddance" then I'm inclined to believe them, even though I thought of Millie as a nice poster. But hey, I have never been in the Millie trenches, so what I do know.

These kind of things happened more often back in the days, when Teamspeak, Ventrillo wasn't widely used and people relied on chat communication. This resulted that people were often unsure for quite some time about someones RL gender. Also gamers were less internet savvy then, often assuming that someone with a female char or forum name would also be female in RL. If someone didn't clear up this immediately, things could get a life on it's own. I've know some guys who played female chars and were reluctant to join voice comms, when they became more common, out of shame of being "outed", because they'd played the "assumed female" role for too long then. Perhaps something similar happened here.

Wait, so Millie isn't a girl?

Did she make up the lie about Jon dying of cancer because she took over his persona as the REAL Millie because the REAL Millie wasn't really a member of FOH? And none of the other administrators ever noticed it? And now she's getting a restraining order against Jon?

I'm confused.

I always wondered what vicious, real-life attacks Brittney & co. visited upon Millie (and now it seems -- hilariously -- Furor and others as well) that made he/she/it seek legal recourse.

Of course I wouldn't bet on any sort of real-life attacks, or subsequent legal action, having actually happened. All the same I am curious.
