Nyquill works for me but regular use of it hurts your immune system. Generally hard exercise (really hard core) is enough but it sucks having to basically exhaust yourself every time you want to go to bed unless your already an active person.

I see now. You're one of those people that looks for reasons to be offended. It must be frustrating to go through life like that.

I read a study that suggested that the average sleep cycle is 90 minutes and you have multiple sleep cycles in a night (obviously). If you wake up in a multiple of 90 minutes you'll feel much more rested than if you wake up in the middle of a sleep cycle.

A good night's sleep - WebMD
Quote:
Sleep is prompted by natural cycles of brain activity and consists of two basic states: rapid eye movement (REM) sleep and nonrapid eye movement sleep, which consists of stages 1 through 4. Each cycle lasts about 90 minutes, she explains. "You do that cycle several times night, you've had a good night's sleep," Lorenzo tells WebMD. "Anything that interrupts that pattern will cause sleepiness the next day."
Does not exactly match up with what I said, but I knew I read it somewhere, so here's another link:

90 Minutes Sleep Cycle - Stepcase Lifehack
Quote:
Studies show that the length of sleep is not what causes us to be refreshed upon waking. The key factor is the number of complete sleep cycles we enjoy. Each sleep cycle contains five distinct phases, which exhibit different brain- wave patterns. For our purposes, it suffices to say that one sleep cycle lasts an average of 90 minutes: 65 minutes of normal, or non-REM (rapid eye movement), sleep; 20 minutes of REM sleep (in which we dream); and a final 5 minutes of non-REM sleep. The REM sleep phases are shorter during earlier cycles (less than 20 minutes) and longer during later ones (more than 20 minutes). If we were to sleep completely naturally, with no alarm clocks or other sleep disturbances, we would wake up, on the average, after a multiple of 90 minutes–for example, after 4 1/2 hours, 6 hours, 7 1/2 hours, or 9 hours, but not after 7 or 8 hours, which are not multiples of 90 minutes. In the period between cycles we are not actually sleeping: it is a sort of twilight zone from which, if we are not disturbed (by light, cold, a full bladder, noise), we move into another 90-minute cycle. A person who sleeps only four cycles (6 hours) will feel more rested than someone who has slept for 8 to 10 hours but who has not been allowed to complete any one cycle because of being awakened before it was completed…. ”

Have a kid

I used to have massive insomnia and would sleep like 30 minutes at a time, then wake up sweaty as shit, have to change and repeat, Or start stressing about not sleeping and then just not sleep at all. Became hyper sensitive to anything when trying to sleep, to the point that a hair moving on my body felt like a huge spider crawling on me.

Started taking Unisom over the counter sleep pills, the first time i took one It ko'd me for like 12 hours and i was in love,. After like 5 years i was taking 3 and couldnt sleep so said fuckit. jsut got used to no sleep.

Now like i said, have a kid and for the most part sleep like a brick, but if I get out of what i take 9MG of melatoning a day (hour before bed) and within 3-5 days im passing out within 20 minutes.

Also like someone else said, keep a strick sleep schedule, DONT sleep in, and if you do stay up super late, bite the bullet, and just get up at normal time and go to bed a little earlier, sleeping 5-8 hours a few days then 10 hours even one day severly fucks you up.

A multi vit wouldn't hurt at all, but I doubt you would get the noticeable results that you want. I think it was said earlier, exercise during the day, especially cardio will help. If your looking down the RX road try ambien or lunesta, both can be addictive though. Also a glass of wine can help, but I don't think your old enough to drink yet..

Chloroform is your best option.

Few more months before a shot or 2 can help knock me out. I don't typically have an addictive personallity and I might have to do to the doctor soon anyway so I'll ask him about lunesta or ambien
