The push email for the iphone works amazing now. I get the email notification on my phone before my computer notifies me. The same for the G1. I have been using the iphone since release day. It's the only phone I have owned for longer than a year. The typing on it becomes second nature and you get really good at it. The only time I make errors is while driving. Typing is the same on the g1, you have a physical and touch keyboard. I can't stand the blackberry, the keys are too small for my hands. Maybe I need the bold. What I like best about the G1 is the integreation with google services. Google voice works so well with it. You can set it to automatically use your google voice number when you make a call, or send a text. Or you can set it to ask you every time if you want to use GV.

I didnt think I would use the iPhone for the internet browser when I bought it, but now, its amazing. Being able to surf on either the mobile site, or the original is pretty awesome.

| I have verizon and I can't imagine getting anything other than an Iphone when I decide to get a new phone, unless I hear a very convincing argument. The thing is just amazing, few of my friends have them. I would have bought the Storm if that wasn't a piece of shit, and I really don't have much hope for the storm2, especially since I don't feel like waiting for verizon to emerge from behind the app curve. PS: Yes I know, I need to change to AT&T for the Iphone. My contract is just about done already.

Sadly, AT&T's signal quality has gone down hill over the last months in my area (near a major MS campus) since they have a big contract to sell AT&T phones to their employees. I dropped T-Mo because they didn't want to even check my signal quality at my house, stating that "our maps show good signal there"

Rumor Has It: Verizon and Apple Testing iPhone LTE This was another article that said what a good idea it would be for Verizon to get the iPhone and how horrible it would be for AT&T's subscriber numbers. Analyst: Apple Would Benefit From Verizon iPhone Deal | John Paczkowski | Digital Daily | AllThingsD Interestingly enough, though, the Verizon Droid television adds seem markedly anti-iPhone, so no idea what that would do to relationships.

If you're thinking 4G/LTE then it'd be a repeat of the AT&T debacle: Releasing a phone on a totally unproven network. Even if they do launch LTE next year I'm sure they'll want to have as little LTE handsets on it as possible to do as much testing and allow them to gradually increase it's coverage. At least LTE will be worldwide though so Apple could make an iPhone based on that cell tech and not have to change their manufacturing process. Sorry, no Verizon iPhone till earliest 2011

| I wonder how Verizon is going to handle andriod phones and stuff like that? How is there data plans and what will they allow as a marketplace? Verizon is pretty big on taking a phone that has a ton of features and shitting on it until it's only worth using it for making calls and texting. Sorry for the derail, but I was wondering if they plan on dropping their business model for something that's not from the 90's. |

One interesting question: What are they coing to do about the Android Market. Verizon has been huge on locking down phones to only purchase apps through their shitty app market.
