| Do either of these other iphone alternatives have free apps or do you need to pay for them? Will they have the capability to make identical apps, or use the same apps that work on the iphone (realize this is probably no)?

Definitely not. There are a lot of duplicate apps though, like facebook and pandora. Last edited by theawddone; 11-01-2009 at 12:45 AM.. | |

+29 Internets | Just got my Storm2 yesterday. After the crap that was the Storm1 (I liked my Strom 1 a lot, but the only reason it was even remotely usable was pirating unofficial OS releases) this is what the Storm SHOULD have been. From the new electronic surepress screen, to the Wi-fi, to the stable OS, to the extra memory. This phone is sleek and fast and stable. The old phone felt like a demo mock up compared to this one. If you are in a company that uses BES and requires Blackberrys for everyday use, this is a great phone if you want a touchscreen/bigger screen to read you mail on. The typing is much improved and it handles apps, SOOOO much better than the old Storm. I do want to check out Verizon's Droid phone someday, but since this is a BES house, it probably won't happen.

+29 Internets | They are working on Oen GL support on Blackberries, so we will start seeing 3d games on the Storm2 and other newer models in the future.
