| Knives I'm looking for some advice on a good all around utility/camping/survival knife to use while camping, or have with me while mountain biking or trail riding on my quad. Right now I have a Kabar, while I love it, it is too big to be practical for any kind of use outside the deep woods with an 8" blade and 13" overall length it is very hard to find practical uses, though I did chop down a tree with it I was thinking of this one RAT Cutlery Co. I'm not looking for anything serrated, I am thinking straight edge and on the smaller side. |

+32 Internets | I use the Kershaw Cyclone as my main carry. It has a blade length of 3.75" and overall length of 8.75 weighing 6.3oz. I have big hands and its large enough to get things done and small enough to be concealed easily. It has a on/off switch that will allow speed spring opening via a stud or back flipper. Here is a video reveiw. |

| I have a small collection of outdoors knives to fit a variety of tasks/situations. Kershaw Chive is great for a very small daily carrier. It is a smaller version of what Skrigg is talking about. The opening mechanism on them is fantastic. The Chive is VERY small, a slightly larger version is the Leek. I have a Benchmade folder that is a mid-size, blade is 3.75. Another quality company. Comes with a belt clip, good for hiking etc. Next up is a fixed blade SOG. SOG SEAL Pup Elite (Straight Edge Black TiNi) I use this for backpacking etc, it comes with a belt sheath. I have used and abused this knife and it has held up very well. The largest I have is another SOG SOG Trident 2.0 I dont carry this one around too often, it was a gift and I was actually looking more for something closer to the other SOG I have. |

| I currently own two knives that I use constantly. ![]() Is my primary utility knife. I use the shit outta this thing. It looks pretty flimsy, but its very well made and extremely durable; its a folding knife and the notch that holds it straight is just beastly. Also: ![]() By far the best bali-song that I've personally owned. Edit: I live in Arizona, which allows bali-songs.
