Bi-xenon lights (the ones with the high and low beam bulbs) are also much, much more expensive because they require two xenon control boxes.

To give you an idea, most Mercedes bi-xenons are in the upper 1k to 2k range, with some much, much more expensive. Lexus has a light on their 600h that is 5 grand and some change. Most xenons typically range from 600 to 1200 depending on what comes with them (for instance, TSX lights are a little under 500 for the assembly, but the assembly doesn't come with the box or the bulb which will be the bulk of the cost). Boxes are usually anywhere from 400 to 600, and bulbs are anywhere from 180 to 300 I think is the most expensive I've seen.

HID kits for low end cars usually end in disaster if just installed from my experience. A much cooler, and better option for the cost imo, is Angel Eyes and shit like that. You'd probably have to get them done at a custom shop that specializes in it, but that shit looks fucking cool. Here's a picture of some tC headlights with it installed.
I've never been a big fan of seeing angel eyes on anything other than BMW's; they are a BMW design signature. Might as well slap a roundel onto your Scion while you're at it. That picture you posted is a blatant rip off of a 5 series headlight.

There's some cars that can pull it off really well, here's an 03-05 G35 coupe with it on there,

I've always thought the G35 headlights were hideous, and that looks even worse.

After I put some dielectric grease on my relay switch I haven't had any problems at all.

And yeah I looked into angel eyes but to put them in you ethier have to pay. . which no thanks. . or bake your headlight. . and I'm not comfortable baking my headlight assembly. =p

They do look badass though.

Well you've got two different stock headlights on the 07-09 tC. One comes with the base package, whatever the fuck that is, and one comes without. The ones you uploaded are like the 05-07 tC, which is one of those options on the 07-09.

Separating the lens from the housing isn't too difficult, I could probably give you a pretty safe step by step on it tomorrow. The bitch is getting them to seal back up right if you don't have the proper tools.

And yeah, the ones I uploaded are aftermarket.

Those ones you posted? Not really. 189 brand spankin new, could probably find some reconditioned ones for around 100, aftermarket even cheaper (like TYC or Depo or something).

Why do Scion TC's come up in any car thread around here? How can you be a car enthusiast and drive that piece of shit?

I'd have to agree, personally. I hate everything Scion produces, though I guess out of them all I'd think the tC is the most well-made (not that that is saying much). Their x lines are terrible, ugly pieces of crimes against humanity, and I'm pretty sure everyone that drives them is a cock loving faggot, or a cock hating whore. Strange the dichotomy, but hey.

tC's are great cars, and they are one of the most easily modifiable cars in the world. . right up there with skylines because of the way they are built.

They are peppy stock, handle insanely well, have alot of room on the inside. . .I love mine.

I'll agree the rest of the cars scion makes are all ugly pieces but

It's a motherfucking transverse front wheel drive naturally aspired 4 cylinder. It is not peppy. That camry 4-cylinder engine sure modifies about like a skyline.. which, if you know anything about skylines (pre-R35 anyway), require serious engine work past about 400hp because their stock motors are weak as fuck - unlike say, a Supra, which has a bulletproof engine stock.. but then again, you like Scion TC's so I'm going out on a limb and say you're a rice boy.

Tuners, not rice.

Rice would be a honda civic, or ford focus.

Also, I don't know where you come from but finding a supra for under 20k in decent condition is a pretty daunting task.

It's cute how you think there's a big difference between a civic, focus, and scion tc.
