+3 Internets | I'm not a big coffee guy, but on a similiar note...I prefer Krispy Kreme to Dunkin' Donuts

| No DD on the West Coast, or at least not in SoCal. There's Krispy Kreme, Winchell's, and a handful of other chains. But we did get Dunkin' Donuts breakfast cereal back in the '80s, so we got a "Time to make the donuts!" commercial along with it. |

+1 Internets | Good news for dunkin' donut fans (of which I am not) Dunkin’ Donuts (finally) returning to California? | LA Snark Saw the coffee being sold at target the other day and was about to buy some considering the raves that it usually gets but decided to skip it. |

| Growing up, loved white frosting with colored sprinkles, then new fave were maple bars. Now Krispy Kreme glazed fo' life. My buddy uses the glazed KK donuts to make a bread putting that will make you tight in your pants. Same buddy that made THE most fattening shit I ever had. Made bacon, then fried bread in the grease, fried an EGG in the same grease, then made a bacon & egg sandwich with all of it. No joke I wasn't breathing right for an hour or 2 after eating it. You can also just buy bagged DnD coffee in supermarkets here in Vegas. |

| Weird that everyone has such a hard on for Dunkin Donuts. Maybe I've just been drinking it so long that I'm used to it, but I'll take Green Mountain Coffee made with the little Krups containers any day over DD. Gloria Jean's too for that matter. Their coffee is OK, and I get it every day but if I had other options on the way to work I would take them. Edit: I'm a coffee snob. I was a barista when I was 16, and after that all chain coffee pretty much tastes like ass. I should also probably point out that I drink my coffee black so no sugar/cream masking the taste. +31 Internets | Dunkin' Donuts is actually the originator of the expensive coffee cup. Starbucks took their original cues from them. And yes, I do enjoy a cup of DD coffee but I quit the stuff as morning fuel a year ago. I took a trip to Boston earlier this year...you can't throw a rock without hitting a DD in that town, it's craziness! |

| DD is making a come back in to Texas, specifically opening up like 10 new stores around the DFW area. I friend of mine who is from Boston is a HUGE DD fan and he has been rejoicing like it is the 2nd coming now that they are here in Texas. I do not know to many people who have not heard of DD, for me I did not specifically know they are known more for their coffee than their donuts, but they are making a major play against the star bucks in the local area. |
