| Spy Party this actually sounds pretty damn fun.... Seldom in life does someone cackle in front of you like a James Bond villain, explaining how they will deliver your demise. When game designer Chris Hecker did this to me in San Francisco recently, I knew I had him. See, Chris Hecker thought he was clever. And the truth is that Chris Hecker is clever. A former developer of Spore and a well-respected game designer, he is now developing one of the most interesting multiplayer games I have ever played. +26 Internets | It seems like that guy had a lot of fun playing it and the people making it are having fun with their ideas... but I can't see how it would be fun to be a sniper that never moves in a very small window staring at people looking for stuttering movement that a computer wouldn't make. I'm not sure that I can get that excited over this one. |

+64 Internets | I think the problem with this game is that it will not be about spotting the spy in a party, but about spotting a human amongst AI. They probably need to refine the AI and not give direct control over the spy for it to become about spotting the spy. Voight-Kampff tests are still far away...
