+267 Internets | Alice 2 Saw this. Has it really been 9 years? I suppose it shouldn't be surprising with the movie timing. American McGee’s ‘Return of Alice’ Waking Up For 2011 Release » MTV Multiplayer Dunno what is up with http://www.returnofalice.com/, apparently it had been working. Too soon to post? I dunno.

+9 Internets | For whatever reason I never played the first one. I really liked the concept, art, and music; even have the Mad Hatter figure near my desk. IIRC, Alice got mediocre reviews but hopefully this time they can get everything meshed into a really good experience. |

+146 Internets | Considering the first one was raved over for its slick graphics, character design, etc., I found it quite jarring that this teaser was done in what appears to be claymation (except the Cheshire Cat, of course). Alice's hair looks like it was picked up from my shower drain and glued to her head. ![]() Regardless, I have high hopes for the continuation. Enjoyed playing through the first. I just wish they'd be a little looser-lipped about the details of 2 - such as if Vrenna is doing the soundtrack again, if the Cheshire Cat and Alice voice actors are the same, and so forth. |

+17 Internets | I thought the first game was gimicky and boring from a gameplay perspective; but very cool from an overall design and aesthetics perspective. Hope the second one combines both aspects more seamlessly. I actually like the claymation style. I find it pretty creepy. Reminds me of this and is a style not used in videogames. |

| I remember being bored about 5-6 hours into Alice and never even bothering to finish it. But then again, pretty much ALL FPS sucked complete ass for the 3-4 years following Half-Life, just because they couldn't compete from a storytelling or gameplay perspective.

+39 Internets | I didn't play the first one as an FPS...it might've been possible to zoom in that much, but I think you were intended to play over the shoulder. The story and atmosphere of the first one were awesome, the gameplay mechanics were shit. Jumping and the complete imbalance of weaponry were my main complaints. |

| Apparently the claymation trailer for Alice 2 was a fan-made one that was offered to EA. Hopefully we'll hear more in the future. I never got to play the first one, I saw the box a billion fucking times in the game stores next to Undying (an old favorite of mine), yet I never picked it up. Always regretted that. Now I can't seem to get my hands on it to check it out. I love games with twisted settings.
