Finally beginning to get interesting again. All of this generations consoles are pretty close. This is before the PS3 Slim launched* in case some of you didn't realize.

EA Boss Does Not Seem Pleased With Madden 10 Sales - Madden nfl 10 - Kotaku

They make money off of the franchise every year, and they're still disappointed.

The Joker effect is pretty strong for the sales of Batman:AA on PS3!

If it wasn't for the fact a PC version is coming out, and with a cooler physics engine no less I imagine those sales for Batman would be a shit load higher. How many people around here are waiting for the PC version... or plan to buy the PC version even though they have the console version as well? I'll end up with both.

It's not including the PS3 Slim, but for the last 2? weeks of the month there was a $100 price drop on the PS3 in general, and the last few days included the 360 elite price drop.

WB has stated they're approaching 2 million units sold for Batman.

Madden did really well on PS3 given the 2:1 install base. Analyst babble could be interesting about Batman. Was it the DLC? The available library of games? The PS3-based advertising?

I actually doubt it. It has to be night and day between console and PC, especially for an action game, for me to consider the PC. I've gotten lazy in my old age I guess but fighting with PCs, upgrading, system diagnostics, even installing, I'd rather just throw it into my console, do the install that I press 1 button, make some food, done by then, sit down and play.

As for owning both copies, that I doubt more, especially in these economic times. $60 is already steep.

I'm quite impressed with the PS3 vs Xbox. Is this one of the first cross platforms to do almost the same on both? I know the DLC made me sorta wish I had a PS3 (well, mostly sorta wish I just had the DLC on my xbox).

Street Fighter IV sold about the same on X360 and PS3 in the US.

Well the PC version is suppose to have improved physics over the console versions. I believe the PC demo was recommending a 250+ geforce card for turning them on. I don't know if it makes a night or day difference compared to the console since you only get to play the PC demo for like 5 minutes. Looking forward to finding out though. It was a complete blast on the console, and I tend to prefer my PC anyway.

They paid some premium money to get exclusive NFL rights and I don't think they'll sold all that more to justify the price tag they paid for the rights.
