Play Video Game Tournaments for Money - Cash Video Game Battles, Online Competitions | BringIt I saw an interview about this I want to say more then two years ago and it looks like it is becomming possible. You add funds to your account then bet and winner take all.

I would maybe wager 2-3 bucks on a game but too many people are going to cheat or use accounts that appear to have a shitty win record then their brother gets on the account and dominates for an easy 50 bucks.

Looks good on paper though I wonder how this will go. Soon to be rich bastards I imagine. If they are smart they will host tournaments with a buy in and winner take 90% of total buy in or something. Even a FFA death match in Halo top three get prize money of a best of 3 rounds etc.

They need to do this type of stuff for Super Mario Bros 3, I'd make out like a bandit.

Matching systems are going to make most people plateau quickly unless they're either extremely good or extremely bad.

sounds like a good idea as long as they have a good rule set and some anti-cheat system better then a normal game. since money is involved if they dont do it right people will rage quit and never come back.

I think they are going to get lawyer'd into oblivion if they ever get a hint of success.
