Level 27 siren - picked up a legendary/orange SMG with fire dmg last night - had to wait a level till I could use it, but up close every thing rolls over and dies. Badass mobs just take a full clip unlike regular mobs that take a burst. Badass mobs are great, they flail about in an orange cloud of dmg numbers and flames before going up in a puff of smoke.

Finally ran into the big bad faction too, they seem to work smarter than the others and I was surprised to see them use certain abilities but it absolutely makes sense that they do.

Levelling doesn't feel grindy; I just play and seem to level up at a decent pace. 25 and 26 flew past, surprisingly fast after I plowed through a whole series of quests and Krom's canyon.

Even got My Brother is an Italian Plumber achievement off a spider thing!

Can you think of a game where the warrior/barbarian/berserker doesn't absolutely destroy just about anything you throw at it?

I really thought about skipping this one, but I might have to pick it up next month.

That is because the ship date was the 26th and wouldn't be available to pick up til the 27th. I'm kind of surprised they did this but I'm happy its fixed.

Diablo 2 definitely not. So you could think of 2, and theres many more that favor heavy melee

Double post FTW!

Trying to get my typical co-op crew to pick this up, was hard until I linked them the MAINSTREAMED! vid.

At 40 I have everything that involves Daze in Lilith's skill trees; daze on melee, daze on phase in/out, and bullet daze. These skills make her really nasty; everything is constantly slowed and missing most shots. That being said, I didn't really use phasewalking except to get out of trouble until around 20-25.

Have a couple of friends thinking about picking this up for PC. Only one question for you XBOX guys that have it already. Do you guys see yourselves playing through again after finishing it once? Me and my buddies played the shit out of Diablo 2 and if we can get that kind of replayablity then it's a sure buy, if it's only one play through then I don't know if I can convince them to pick it up.

there is new game + and to reach max level you need to play through it again. So I guess the question is, is it worth it to play it a 3rd time through!

It honestly depends on your group, you burn through the storyline real fast and there are some memorable moments that are worth seeing again, and if you want to max level and get more awesome weapons then it'd be worth it. But if you feel the game is grindy whatsoever then its just going to be worse then next time through.
