I've joined a couple obvious pubstomps with friends and we concede the match about 20 seconds in. Got a few good rage whispers that way.

I assumed the clan drama has mostly calmed down and been settled. PM if there are still any issues that you think require clan leader intervention, and I use the term leader, and clan for that matter, very loosely.

I don't really see it as an organised clan, and more of a way to avoid that crap that is playing with pubs all the time. It should really very friendly, and having a good time, and for the most part I think it succeed since I have fun even when losing, which I can't say the same for when playing in pubs. If you find that its not serious enough for you, there are a few people who are in more organised clans playing competitively, so you might want to look them up to join, though obviously everyone is still welcome to hang in the channel and chat.

Perrito though sounds like he really wants to be kicked to the curb. Ok he talks shit to me enough for me to kick him from the clan, yet when some people work on his behalf to calm the situation down so we can all move on, he then continues to talk shit to me. Now I read he's talking shit another FoH member. Strikes me as someone who is a few beers short of a six pack. Seriously dude, if you don't want to be here, just say so and we'll make it happen.

Anyway, everyone try to have fun, and if you're starting to rage too much, log off and take a breath. It's not worth blowing a gasket over.

Nah Perrito's ok, just an honest squabble between folk and I was being heavy handed. Maybe there is a full moon out, cause I just finished a match where once again my team was being less than civil to one another, and we ended up winning. At any rate, I certainly don't bear a grudge, and you don't have to be pals to be teammates in a match. It's a very competitive game, and when you're losing, its almost always a one-sided affair, which means you aren't having any fun, but you are stuck until your teammates get fed up enough to concede because you can't just d/c an inhouse. It's a perfect recipe for infighting pretty much every game.

So how are Vindicator and Rampage? I played with an ally Rampage. He didn't do too well. He expected to just roll over faces, especially against an enemy Predator.

This is kind of funny because my RL friend that I always played DotA with would always talk about how people would confuse Spiritbreaker with God - charging into 1 v 3 with 10+ seconds of warning that the initial targetted hero wasn't alone FULLY expecting to come out on top (and failing), etc. It seems some attitudes towards heroes won't change no matter how much of a facelift they receive.

Yeah, and he immediately has this defeatist attitude. He was like, "So uhh I cant damage you?....Durrr, uh is this new hero gimp?" Shit like that. I'm like, dude, are you just running in there? Do you even know how to play or is this your first time? Come on, be reasonable.

So how are Vindicator and Rampage?

They both play just the same as their dota counterparts. Rampage owns faces with mass attack speed and his charge is going to catch the majority of people off guard until they learn to continuously check their debuffs to see if they are being charged.

Vindicator I have problems with, mainly because there is no sound played when he uses global silence, and I already have a huge problem with the way the graphic for you being silenced was implemented. In dota it was IMPOSSIBLE to not see you were silenced because it was a solid colored text bubble over your head that was rendered on top of everything else. In HoN you get this transluscent red/purple flame thingy that is damn near impossible to see when you are in a large group fight. Extremely annoying cause usually it can cost you a few extra seconds during a fight while you are figuring out that the ability you just used didn't go off because you were silenced.

There is a sound for Silencer's global silence actually. I played Vindi earlier today and heard it every time.

People haven't gotten used to having him in the game. I played a game vs. behemoth and magmus both and completely fucked them trying to blink ult with my silence.

Word of the wise: don't bother getting Harkon's on Silencer. Harkon's orb effect doesn't stack with Vindi's glaives. You either use one or the other.. which would be nice I suppose (effectively giving you the choice between -magic armor or pure damage), but you'd get much better use out of his other obvious choices : sheep stick, hellflower, etc.

Silencer is probably the best pubstomp hero... twice in a row I go against him and the guy laning against him doesnt counter his DoT... proceeds to get owned. Even after I tell them how to get rid of it -_-
