In worse news, PS3 network is apparently not punishing people using the Javelin bug like the other two platforms. Last game *three* people were using it in Highrise Domination. Killed one fucker as he was taking the middle B point, shot him from the top of the helo building, the javelin still killed my ass.

on xbox we had a clan member get banned for a week for using javelin glitch after we told him repeatedly to stop using it because it made our clan look bad. I truly hope that they reset the stats to zero like a previous poster said they will on bans.

Also how did the infinite care package thing work? Never saw anyone use it to my knowledge.

QUick question. Was watching nephew play today while working on PC and he has the Blast Shield equipment on(lower explosive dmg) but he could hit RB and it would in a sense give his screen a tunnel vision look, take away the Radar, but didn't really seem to give any advantage, and it was a toggle. He was able to survive grenades, claymores just fine without hitting RB. Just curious what exactly getting the tunnel vision does.

Was it random luck he servived claymores/nades without blast shield on?

I've never use blast shield or even recognized it :P

Not random luck, he was just far enough away to survive the blast. The shield allows you to be closer without sustaining fatal damage.

Yeah that was linked on the last page. They definitely haven't pushed it live yet though.

Fixed on PC already, but that's pretty much the only advantage PC version has over consoles sadly. Patches don't need to go through ridiculous amounts of hoops to go live compared to PS3/360.

I have to say I'm pretty impressed with Microsoft and how they have handled cheaters for this game and modders/cheaters in general. I played all day today and saw only two javelin glitchers and no other cheaters. The one game where we had the two, everyone in game filed complaints and the people stopped (though given 10 complaints against them I wouldn't be surprised if they receive temp bans).

Seems like a little enforcement goes a long way.

(or I just got really lucky and it is as bad as ever)

Yeah saw three people in the same clan get booted for hacking mid game. VAC sure as fuck doesn't prevent hackers but it does catch them.

PSN is a joke when it comes to cheaters. People were BLATANTLY cheating in WAW using map glitches, and they just stayed in games, not caring about any repercussions.

There are a bunch of javelin suiciders running around, and no one cares/does anything. You can report if you want, but there will be no ban.

Been posted, but eh. Equip javelin, cook off a semtex but don't throw it, then switch back to javelin. Run around knifing people until someone kills you, then you explode.

Oddly enough I haven't seen much of it on 360 'till last night. I was in 3-4 games (domination) where at least 2 people on the opposing side were exploiting the shit out of it. The funny thing is when you kill someone running around with a javelin and they DON'T explode. You gotta wonder if they are stupid and just can't figure it out, or if they're smart and think that if you see them with a javelin, you'll ignore them.

It sucks when half your deaths come from javelins, but it doesn't cause me to rage as much as the care package glitch.

If you change your animation (jumping over an object ect) the glitch "deactivates". So you have to perform perfect jumps, or dont traverse any obstacles, otherwise it wont work. Thats why you see them just die sometimes.

A good cheater will explode every time.
