| Nintendo DSi Did anyone get one? I picked it up so my wife and I could play some DS games together. The screen is nice, little bit bigger. I was hoping Id be able to pimp the DSI software thats for sale but nothing really looks good, yet. Im hoping they get old school games like the Wii Store has on there. Im not too terribly impressed with the camera, either, but its not a selling strongpoint so I guess I cant complain. Anyway, anyone else get one? Off the topic, can anyone recommend some good DS multiplayer games?

| I bouht my DS Lite about two weeks ago because I give less than half a shit about a horrible ass webcam quality digi cam and I'd prefer to plug in my R4 and run it for the bonus 2hr of battery life I get off the Lite. I really saw no point to the DSi and I never even understood the hype |

The DSi only games that can use the new proc can in theory be on/close to the level of (original)PSP games. I don't know why they didn't hype this as the big thing, but it's the real reason to (eventually) get one. I mainly bought mine for the larger DS screens, plus it's supposedly easier to hack(as in physically, not software) for some things I want to do. | Maybe once they get a FW upgrade for the R4 to work with DSi and there are a few DSi only games I want I'll upgrade. I think it would be epic amounts of retarded by developers to dev for DSi only, though. Everyone and their uncle owns a DS it seems so why limit yourself to only the DSi base. |

Once it catches on more though I imagine the BCDS versions will be dropped, since the spec differences are huge. As little sense as it makes, it's worked for Nintendo in the past. | |

I'm not going to get one either, until some DSi only games are released.

| So yeah I didn't know just how much more powerful the DSi is to the DS Lite. Like a 66Mhz proc vs 133 Mhz and the DSi has 4x the RAM. Kinda changes my perception. Still no reason to buy it for me but I can see where they're going with it. |

+29 Internets | Dude your signature makes it impossible for me to concentrate on the thread. I mean seriously. How do you find out that you're into that? And he says "most chicks"... so what about the chicks that DIDN'T like it? Bet that reaction was pretty funny. More on topic um, I'm not buying this thing. Maybe in a year if they do something cool with the software. |
